Pancakes are usually considered to be a breakfast food that can be served with with fruit, syrup, and jam.
- Flour - 1 cup
- Baking Powder - 1 1/2 tablespoons
- Salt - 1/4 teaspoon
- Egg - 1, beaten
- Milk - 1 cup
- Vegetable Oil - 2 tablespoons
- In a medium bowl, stir together the eggs, milk, and oil. Add flour, baking powder, and salt. Mix until smooth.
- Pour 1/4 cup of the batter for each pancake in a hot, oiled griddle. Turn when golden brown. Serve hot.
